My daughter drives a Smart Car, which everyone knows is just a glorified Matchbox car. So during snow storms, she has to find an alternative method of transportation. During one particularly harrowing blizzard, she decided to jog to work. Since she usually jogs five miles a day, she wasn’t sure how well she’d be able to handle seven miles. When she made it, she sent me a victory selfie, and that’s what I used to create this painting.
This piece won an honorable mention at the very competitive Franklin County Art Alliance’s 47th Annual Art Show, and was included in the invitation-only Franklin County Art Alliance Winner’s Gallery show.
